Founded in 1976, Bodkins & Associates is a family-owned manufacturer's representative agency serving the contract furniture industry throughout Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Western Pennsylvania.
The company was founded by Richard Bodkins, whose career in the contract furniture industry began in 1960 when he purchased Mueller Furniture in Grand Rapids, Michigan, from Fritz Mueller. Richard became the first non-family member to own the company and played a significant role in its success.
After selling Mueller Furniture in 1976, Richard founded Bodkins & Associates with a vision of building lasting relationships through exceptional service, integrity, and representing quality manufacturers. Initially, he covered five states on his own.
That legacy continued when his son, Noel Bodkins, joined the business, helping expand the company while upholding the family values and commitment to excellence on which it was founded.
Today, the third generation proudly carries that tradition forward as Noel's two children, Kyle Bodkins and Katrina Weber, have joined the company. Together, we combine decades of industry experience with a fresh perspective, representing innovative manufacturers and shaping spaces where people work, gather, and connect.
More than 60 years later, Bodkins & Associates remains committed to the same principles that have defined us from the beginning: trusted relationships, responsive service, and a passion for delivering exceptional solutions for every client.
